Impact Hub Amsterdam has been established in 2008 and has recently moved to a bigger location in the Westerpark. The current team consists of 10 people + 20 volunteers and we are growing rapidly.
The job
We are looking for a communicator. You are responsible for making communications planning for our activities and projects and executing those plans in close collaboration with the project managers.
The position is for 2 days a week.

The responsibilities
• Creating a communications plan for the year and per project/program
• Finding the right tone of voice for communications channels
• Coordinating the communications on the following channels: various social media channels, our blog and event pages, program websites, various newsletters, HUBnet, group emails

• You are a communicator by heart and you know how to trigger attention
• You have an eye for esthetics and visual communication
• You are open to conversation and learning
• You like to stand out from the mainstream and you are forward-thinking
• You are an excellent planner and creating structure comes naturally to you
• You enjoy being in a vibrant environment and between people all the time
• You can easily switch between details and the bigger picture
• You have high standards and you take pleasure in always looking for improvement
• You are comfortable in Dutch and English
• You are time-conscious and you’re hardly ever late

The experience we are looking for
• HBO+
• Experience in handling word processors, Wordpress, social media platforms
• Experience with media, creative writing, advertising, interviewing, design
• Having experience in journalism, blogging, copywriting is a definite plus!
