Human Resource Manager
Are you an experienced Human Resource Manager who would like to contribute to the development of PNG?
The Economic and Public Sector Program (EPSP) is an initiative by Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and a partnership between the Governments of Australia and Papua New Guinea. The goal of EPSP is to provide an effective and efficient public service that focuses on service delivery for the men, women and children of PNG. The program supports strengthening the systems of central agencies in their role as key enabling institutions to achieve their reform priorities.
EPSP is seeking applications for the role of Human Resources Manager. Recruitment of this position is subject to the extension of the head contract.
About the role:
- Port Moresby based
- Classified A3 under the DFAT Adviser Remuneration Framework (see www.dfat.gov.au for details)
- Full-time position for 12 months, with the possibility of extension
- Leading recruitment activity for the EPSP Program Management Office and advisers in GoPNG agencies and implementing the HR function for the program
About You:
Our ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate experience in high volume, high level end to end recruitment, ideally in a development context;
- Have extensive experience implementing HR initiatives including performance management, induction and training & development;
- Have high level negotiation skills and an ability to liaise with stakeholders at various levels; and,
- Possess strong interpersonal skills with experience in providing HR services in a multicultural environment, preferably with a managing contractor such as Coffey.
