Deputy Registrar - Quality and Enhancement

The Institute of the Arts Barcelona wishes to appoint a Deputy Registrar with specific responsibility for the development and operational management of its quality assurance and enhancement systems and procedures.

The ideal candidate will probably be currently working within a UK higher education institution, either within a central QAE team or holding QAE responsibility within a faculty, School or Department. The post would be ideal for an ambitious individual who wishes to take on institutional level responsibility, and so further develop their career.

The IAB is a new specialist performing and recorded arts institution which has ambitious plans for growth and aims to have 600+ FTE Higher Education Students within 5 years. The post will provide the successful candidate with substantial opportunity to take initiative and help the institution to achieve its academic and business goals.

Whilst professional knowledge and understanding of the performing arts is not a requirement of the post we would very much welcome applicants with experience in this area.

There is no requirement to speak Spanish or Catalan.
