Intern, Moving Beyond Conditional Cash Transfers (Dominican Republic)
The project Moving Beyond Conditional Cash Transfers in the Dominican Republic (http://www.poverty-action.org/project/0489) aims to measure the impact that financial literacy and job or micro business training has on existing CCT beneficiaries’ well-being.  To ensure successful delivery of the financial literacy training, the intern will act as a field supervisor, visiting training sessions throughout the city and conducting evaluations of facilitators, as well as noting any issues in implementation. There will also be administrative tasks such as compiling attendance lists of facilitators and beneficiaries, as well as evaluation documentation. The intern may also support preliminary endline survey planning.  The internship is based in Santo Domingo, the Dominican Republic, and requires fluency in Spanish. Prior field experience is preferred. The desired start date is early March, lasting through June or early July.
