Supply Financial Controlling Junior Manager
Organizational Context
Global Supply took their finance organisation under review and decided to transfer, establish further RTR roles in DBSC with increased responsibility for financial reporting with the long-term aim to take full accountability and responsibility.
The Supply Financial Controlling Junior Manager role is vital for the management and taking accountability of reported figures; supporting the embedding of right first time behaviour and creating a good cooperation with the Supply Finance Director, site Finance and other departments.
Dimensions of the role
The Supply Financial Controlling Junior Manger reports directly to the Global Supply Financial Controller (DBS Budapest), closely supports the Supply Finance Director. Liaises with other internal & external stakeholders.
Activities, including
- Analysis and reporting of Supply RTR reports
- Active, pro-active management of the Supply RTR process
- Risk treatment and assurance on RTR process
The focus areas are also:
- Create and maintain high quality and effective internal control area. Deliver successful internal & external (GAR, KPMG) audits. Ensure RTR processes are SOX/CARM compliant.
- Coordinate and actively participate in operational accounting activities, month and quarter end closes.
- Ensure the team produces monthly and quarterly management and financial reports in accordance with the agreed group timetable.
- Support Supply and DBSC leadership and work closely together with them.
- Managing in sourcing and outsourcing projects. Liaise with outsource providers.
- Working closely with other in-house and local financial teams (Finance, Costing, BPM, FP&R, Cash Cycle, Treasury, Tax, etc…)
- Enable the high quality team performance through efficient and supportive people and professional processes
- Manage a team of 5-10 people
Purpose of Role
Provide high quality financial support -covering Supply business (SAP based market) - for the Supply FD and for the Global Supply Financial Controller and to the local Supply Centre teams.
As part of this role, to manage the quality, accuracy, timeliness and financial relevance of the Supply SAP based markets performance information.
Top Accountabilities
- Responsible for daily operational accounting and financial activities.
- Coordinate and participate to the month-end close, reporting and reconciliation process. Ensure the completeness and the accuracy of financial records.
- Responsible for compliances and stability of the internal processes

Qualifications and experience required

Work experience
Qualified accountant with minimum of 5 years working and management experience in a multinational corporate environment, with exposure to some of the following areas:
Financial and Management Accounting, Controlling & Reporting processes
- Accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, etc..)
- Experience on people management / management of small team
- Internal / external audit experience and/or SOX
- Experience with Shared services process activities
- Process improvement
- Project / change management
- Business experience and understanding
- Risk assessment
