We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused IT professional to contribute to the success of our ICT department. Liaising with key stakeholders you will identify customer requirements, support University teaching programmes and assist and advise academic staff, students and researchers on ICT related issues.

Educated to degree level in a relevant subject, candidates will have substantial experience in a customer focussed support role, supporting Desktop PCs and other related ICT equipment. In particular, candidates will have an excellent knowledge of Windows XP, Windows 7 and Antivirus applications and good working knowledge of Linux, Mac OS/X, Network (TCP/IP, Firewall, Wireless, Security) and Active Directory. Working knowledge of SCCM is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required, along with the ability to provide practical solutions and work as part of a team.
