As a key member of our global Governmental Affairs Department, you’ll help us meet these challenges head on.

Europe will be your focus. Based in Brussels, you’ll track and monitor changes to EU legislation – analysing their business impact and keeping the wider company informed throughout. You will be involved in championing our position within industry working groups and actively lobbying decision makers. This will involve building strong relationships with everyone from MEPs and UK government officials to trade bodies and local enterprise groups. Through participation in events and public meetings, you’ll also raise our profile across the EU institutions

To make the impact we’re looking for, you must be a seasoned operator with a background in working with the European institutions – gained ideally within an auto-related field. Qualified to degree level, a deep understanding of the EU’s politics and processes is critical, as is an outgoing and tenacious personality. You’ll need to be comfortable mastering technical dossiers and adapting to ever shifting priorities too. Your ability to forge positive working relationships with internal and external contacts alike will prove the real key to your success. And of course, you’ll also need the right to work in Europe and fluency in at least one other European language.
