We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Chief of Party (Project Director) in South Asia (Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan). Position Description: Leads the project activities funded by the mission to support the implementation and to strengthen/build the capacity of key government, NGO and other organizations working with USAID Oversees the successful achievement of the entire project, objectives, deliverables, and impact Primary liaison with the USAID mission, partner organizations, and other stakeholders Oversees all project-to-USAID communication, contract reporting, work planning Supervises technical and finance/admin teams Reports to headquarter management Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree required in one of the following or related fields: International Communications, International Marketing, Mass Communications, Public Affairs, Development Studies, Public Health, Social Marketing and Social Science; 13 years of relevant experience required with a master’s degree or a PhD with a minimum of eight years’ experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; Management experience leading multi-million dollar USAID-funded projects; Applied knowledge of public health and behavior change and communication in national or state-level donor projects; Program management and implementation experience in the region applied for; and a solid understanding and appreciation of USAID and USAID project processes, procedures, and protocols.
