Project Director, RDMA MDR-TB (Chief of Party)

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the position of Project Director, RDMA MDR-TB (Chief of Party) in Bangkok, Thailand.

Position Description:

The Project Director will be responsible for leading a five year comprehensive and innovative project contributing to the reduction in the incidents and mortality related to MDR-TB in the Greater Mekong Subregion with a particular focus on Burma, China (Southern provinces of Yunnan and Guangxi), Laos and Thailand.

The Project Director will be accountable to USAID Regional Development Mission Asia (RDMA) and to FHI 360 for the projects work and achievements. In addition to providing technical and strategic leadership to the project, the Project Director will manage relations with regional donors, partners, stake holders and host country governments to maximize collaboration and synergy between the USAID program and other partners.

Minimum Requirements:

MD (medical degree) plus experience in TB prevention or treatment; Minimum of 8+ years of project management experience; Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and national/international in scope. Experience working in a non-governmental organization (NGO) required.
