Fixed Plant Fitter Australia-New South Wales-Cowal
We are seeking two committed and self-motivated individuals to fill two Fixed Plant Fitter roles at Cowal Gold Mine. These positions are responsible for ensuring Fixed Plant equipment, breakdowns and preventative maintenance are performed as required on the Cowal site.
The Position
- Carry out maintenance activities (planned and reactive), in the process plant, water supply system, tailings dam and any other mine related areas.
- Assist in the development and improvement of equipment maintenance strategies
- Ensuring that all maintenance work is focused on continuous improvement and carried out in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
- Develop and maintain safe work procedures
- Maintain good house keeping standards across the site
- Provide support to the Electrical and Operations teams as and when required.
The Person
- A trade qualification in Fixed Plant Fitting, Machining or Boiler making
- Exposure to mining equipment maintenance desirable
- The ability to work effectively as a team member
- A commitment to achieving zero incidents through a strong focus on safety and environmental requirements
