PART-TIME COORDINATORS IN THE EXTRA MURAL UNIT

Duties: Successful candidates are expected to (i) supervise and coordinate the DABS Programme; (ii) report to the Coordinator at Centre for Continuing Education, University of Botswana, in Gaborone; (iii) help Lecturers in conducting test/examinations, stock study materials and text books, account for books received from the Bookstore, registration of students and assist in the collection of fees; (iv) ensure proper classroom facilities and Computer facilities with school authorities, process lecturers’ claims, prepare time-tables and finally the overall coordination in all respects; (v) carry out any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Coordinator. Classes are held between 6:00 – 8:30 at each of the above centres.

Requirements: A Masters Degree in Accounting, Business Studies or related fields, with relevant experience. (ii) a Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Business Studies or related areas. Applicants should already be in Botswana holding a residence permit (if non-citizen) and stationed at or near their respective centres.
