PART-TIME TUTORS IN THE DISTANCE EDUCATION UNIT CCE

The University of Botswana is offering four degree programmes by distance education mode: namely; Bachelor of Accounting; Bachelor of Finance; Bachelor of Business Administration (Marketing); and Bachelor of Business Administration (Management). The University invites applicants to take up part time tutoring in the above programmes.

Duties: the successful applicants will be required to participate in tutoring students of the above distance learning programmes in any of the following areas, for the academic year 2012/13: Communication & Study Skills, Computing & Information Skills, Business Statistics, Mathematics for business and social sciences Psychology, Marketing, Management, Accounting, Economics, Law, Critical Thinking, Finance.

Requirements: candidates should (i) have a relevant Masters’ Degree in the respective subject/s; (ii) have a relevant Bachelors’ Degree with at least a 2(i) pass and an overall aggregate not less than 65%; (iii) Preference will be given to people who have experience in tutoring distance learners. Candidates will be expected to undergo orientation workshop.
