Freelance Buyer - Malaysia Dragon Sourcing

Dragon Sourcing (www.dragonsourcing.com) is a leading emerging markets service provider. Currently we have offices in China, Vietnam, India, Turkey, Mexico and Brazil. We are now looking to expand our global sourcing capabilities. To that effect we are looking for procurement professionals interested to work as free lancers in the following countries:  Indonesia, Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Kenya, Hungary, Russia, Poland, Czech Republic. The individual will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Identify potential suppliers in their local geography
• Pre-screen these suppliers by phone
• Run a request for information/request for quotation process with the suppliers
• Analyse suppliers responses
• Collect all logistics costs to calculate full DDP costs to our clients’ nominated delivery points
• Carry out supplier audits
• Manage suppliers sample development process
• Make logistics requirements to ship products from supplier to client
• Carry QC and follow up production

Desired Skills & Experience

Potential candidates need to have at least 3 years of procurement and global sourcing experience, must be fully fluent in spoken and written English and be willing to work from home.
