The Finance Service Delivery (FSD) Team are key to delivering an integrated, sustainable, high quality service for the management of the Finance Systems estate. The Core Finance Systems estate comprises all applications and infrastructure operated by the finance outsource provider and also includes specific SAP BI and Performance Management applications (SAP BPC, PCM and Data Services) operated by FSD. The team also supports the delivery of key business processes including Purchase to Pay (P2P), Record to Report (R2R) and Order to Cash (O2C) to business stakeholders (e.g. Procurement, Talent Rights Group, BBC Worldwide, and BBC People).

Project SMART is about to commence the implementation of SAP ECC. The Functional Team Member will support this implementation by completing a number of deliveries connected to the process design, testing, liaison with system developers and change management across assigned process areas including: Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Asset Accounting, Lease Accounting, Project Accounting, General ledger, Monthend and Controlling. The Finance Workstream role will report into the ECC Project Delivery Manager and the Data role will report into the Senior Data Manager.

Requirements

Key to this role will be strong judgement and problem solving abilities, combined with effective influencing and persuading skills.

With knowledge of the BBC’s current use of the SAP Financial modules and the processes that use them, you’ll have hands on experience sufficient to be a subject matter expert within several of the given process areas. Proven organisational skills are essential and you’ll need documentation writing skills and strong presentation skills. A competent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and effective influencing and persuasion skills, you’ll be able to build, develop and manage good working relationships with various stakeholders. Familiarity with process mapping is desirable.
 
Interviews for the Workstream Member roles will be held 27th/28th February/1st March.
Interviews for the Data Member role will be held w/c 4th March.
