Pipeline Project Engineer » Oman

Our Client - is one of the largest E&P operators in the Middle East specializing in the exploration, production, development, storage and transportation of hydrocarbons and operation of natural-gas fields and their associated production systems.

Job Description - A pipeline project engineer whose responsibility is execute pipelines/flowlines projects from design through to commissioning and handover and to ensure that project activities are executed on time, within budget and to the quality and HSE requirements, whilst minimising any deferment and shutdowns. The responsibility is also to efficiently manage all the interfaces between Operations and engineering and to provide the support to Asset Team conceptual engineering during project development phases.

Candidate Requirements -
Graduate in Engineering discipline, preferably mechanical. 8-10 years experience with skills in oil and gas transport system.
Experience in pipeline design, pipeline system project engineering and construction.
Good experience in business/commercial aspects such as project economics, planning, budget cycles, HSE and contracts management. (Plan/Track/Deliver).
Conversant with International  standards / preferable Shell Group or our client´s engineering  standards, as well as HSE standards, particularly ASME B31.4, B31.3, and/or B31.8.
