Site Civil Design Engineer Woodbury, California
Civil 1 is seeking a well-qualified and motivated mid-level site civil engineer to join our team in Woodbury, CT. The successful candidate will serve as a Project Engineer and/ or Project Manager and will be expected to manage multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities will include effective client management, preparation of plans for land development projects, including hydrology and hydraulic studies, reports, site plans, grading plans, erosion control plans and roadway design. Attendance at regulatory land use meetings will also be required. Responsibilities will expand as experience is gained.
Desired Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will posses the following skills and experience:
•P.E. or E.I.T. licensure with a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college
•Three to seven years work experience
•A strong desire for continuous professional and personal development and improvement
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•Advanced AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills
•Ability to work independently in a team environment & to effectively manage time
•Proficiency in a wide variety of software programs
•Project Management experience from proposal through project completion
•Ability to adhere to Civil 1's tobacco free workplace policy
•A valid driver's license
