PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
Qualifications and Experience:
• A PhD. in Linguistics and Language Studies.
Duties:
1. To provide professional/Academic leadership as well as teach the following Language courses: Principles of Psycholinguistics, Principles of Sociolinguistics, Phonology & Phonetics, Morphology and Syntax, Stylistics, etc.

SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER IN COMMUNICATIONS IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC ENGINEERING
Qualifications and Experience:
• At least an MSc in Electronics or related area • University teaching experience at Senior Lecturer Level for appointment as Senior Lecturer.
Duties:
1. Teach undergraduate courses in Electromagnetics, Communications and related areas 2. Carry out research and development work in his/her discipline.

1. Teach undergraduate courses in Electronics, Microcontrollers and related areas 2. Carry out research and development work in his/her discipline

• At least a PhD in a relevant area • Must already be Professor/Associate Professor at a recognized university • Extensive refereed research publications • Compliance with engineers’ professional registration criteria. • Proven competence to provide academic and administrative leadership

1. Teach courses in Electrical Power Engineering 2. Carry out research. 3. Provide academic and administrative guidance to the department. 4. Develop and maintain links with industry

1. To teach courses to undergraduate students. 2. To conduct practical’s in GIS and Remote Sensing 3. Carry out research in the discipline. 4. Provide research and academic guidance to the department.

PROFESSOR/ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/ SENIOR LECTURER/ LECTURER IN THE DEPARTMENT OF ACADEMIC COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Qualifications and Experience:
• A PhD. / Masters in Applied Linguistics or English language and linguistics or teaching English as a second Language (TESL). • Experience in: Teaching EAP and ESP in Commerce related discipline would be an added advantage.
Duties:
1. Teach English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP). 2. Design and develop materials for EAP and ESP. 3. To conduct research and do community service.
