Position Overview:

URS Corporation is currently seeking an Air Quality Specialist / Engineer. This position is important to meet the demands of the increasing workload of air quality projects within our organization. This is an opportunity to become a part of the core air quality team for our Wisconsin Operations.

Responsibilities:

Managing preparation of major and minor source construction permits for clients in various industries
Assisting clients with renewal of Title V Operating Permits
Use of computer software package to perform dispersion modeling; SCREEN3, AERMOD, and CALPUFF dispersion models will be used in the job
Developing emission inventories will be a key element in preparing the permit applications
Meeting with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients will be required
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to those listed above
Qualifications:

BS in Atmospheric Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related discipline
Master's degree in related engineering discipline can substitute for 1 year of experience
PhD degree in related engineering discipline can substitute for up to 3 years of experience
Minimum 12 years of experience in air quality work including permitting, emission inventory development (including GHG), dispersion modeling and regulatory analysis
Understanding of the Federal Clean Air Act and Wisconsin air regulations
Ability to manage air quality projects
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Valid driver's license required
