Call for experts in Humanitarian Aid, Crisis Management and Post-Crisis assistance

The Studies and Evaluations Division is looking for both senior and junior experts, specialised in Humanitarian aid, crisis management and post-crisis assistance for upcoming requests for service through DFID and the EU. Experience in programme/project design and/or evaluation would be an asset, and experts with professional experience in the following areas are particulary encouraged to register with us:
 
  • Humanitarian aid needs assessment.
  • Mediation, conflict prevention, conflict resolution
  • Emergency/post emergency support needs assessment.
  • Monitoring/observing cease-fire peace accords and agreements.
  • Information/media support in crisis/emergencies.
  • Demobilisation, disarmament and reintegration.
  • Small Arms and Light Weapons.
  • Clearance of mines and UXOs.
  • Repatriation and/or resettlement of refugees and IDPs.
  • Linking relief, rehabilitation and development.
  • Damage assessment and reconstruction planning.
  • Post-conflict transition plans, including employment gen, trans justice and security measures.
  • Logistical support to operations.
  • Disaster preparedness.
  • Civil protection.
  • Exploratory missions for EU Election Observation Missions.
