Experts in Trade and Private sector development

The Studies and Evaluations Division is looking for both senior and junior experts, specialised in trade and private sector development, for upcoming requests for service through DFID and the EU. Experience in programme/project design and/or evaluation would be an asset, and experts with professional experience in the following areas are particularly encouraged to register with us:
Trade:
·         Trade policy development and reform; Support to trade negotiations; Trade facilitation; Trade promotion;
·         Regional economic integration;
·         Standards and norms covering Sanitary and Phytosanitary issues / Technical barriers to trade; Metrology;
·         Intellectual property (industrial property, copyright / related rights);
·         Competition policy;
·         Trade defence instruments / dispute settlement / transparency and government procurement;
Private sector
·         Private sector development policy and reform;
·         Privatisation and industrial policy, including Public-Private Partnership;
·         SMEs policy development; SME support; Financial support for SME
·         Regulatory reform for improving the business environment;
·         Investment promotion (domestic and foreign);
·         Supporting professional/commercial/advisory bodies.
