International Training Adviser


IDLO seeks candidates for International Training Advisor positions in Kabul as well as for a mobile training team. The positions are full time with durations ranging from 6 to 9 months.
The International Training Advisors will be responsible for the oversight of the organization and delivery of criminal justice training for judges, prosecutors, defense lawyers and investigators, as well as for follow-on coaching of training participants.
Main duties and responsibilities will include: • Course management – including oversight of delivery of training by Afghan trainers, oversight of course logistics and oversight of course evaluations; • Liaison with local counterparts as directed by Chief of Party; • Liaison with other international partners as directed by Chief of Party; • Delivery of a coaching/mentoring program to provide follow-up assistance to training participants; • Build the capacity of local counterparts in the justice system to ensure the hand-over and sustainability of the criminal justice training program; • Timely completion of weekly progress reports; and • Regular coordination with the Head of Training, Curriculum Development Expert and Chief of Party.
