INFORMATION AND OPERATIONAL COORDINATION OFFICER


Doctor of the World’s International Network includes 14 members : Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Canada, Spain, USA, France, Greece, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, that all implement more than 300 international or national programs in more than 70 countries. The International Network Head Office is responsible for animating this network in order to develop health care and advocacy activities in accordance with values and principles inherent in all Doctor of the World’s associations.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the responsibility of the International Network Director and integrated to the International Network Head Office, you are in charge of facilitating the flow of information on international programs among the network and you contribute to the operational coordination of international missions that concern all members of the international network.
More specifically:
  • Answer questions from the network members about international programs on a daily basis (mainly Germany, USA, Japan, the Netherlands, United Kingdom) in order to facilitate the International Network fundraising efforts.
  • Ensure regular operational information flow in order to anticipate members’ association needs.
  • Support the fundraising research by organising operational consortiums.
  • Elaborate coordination frameworks for different fields and ensure the regular contract procedure in cooperation with operational participants.
  • Prepare and facilitate operational coordination meetings
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

  • Based in Paris (possibly travelling abroad)
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
  • University degree
  • Minimum 2 years NGO experience in projects management and field coordination
  • Knowledge about Doctors of the World appreciated
  • Ability to work independently, interpersonal skills, adaptability
  • Rigor and organisational skills
  • Synthesis capacity and writing skills
  • English-French bilingual, fluent Spanish appreciated
