People And Culture Manager - Sudan

The People and Culture Manager - Sudan will support the strategic direction of World Vision Sudan through development, management and implementation of strategic HR policies, procedure, systems & programs and to ensure that HR standards & organisational culture are coherent to WV partnership.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: 
  • Assist the Country Director in creating an effective organizational structure that will support the overall program strategies of WV Sudan.
  •  Establish proactive local linkages (i.e. schools or inter-agency groups) for potential sourcing strategies (candidate pool) when recruitment occurs.
  • Establish a culture of coaching and mentoring. Design and conduct in-house training programs on HR practices and policies.
  • Review and update salary structure to ensure external equity and competitive compensation and benefit for retention of staff.

REQUIRED SKILLS INCLUDE:
  • University degree in HR management or related field.
  • At least 5-10 years human resource management experience of which 3 should have been at providing leadership at a strategic level to a HR and Country Team.
  • Field experience in developing country.
  • Direct experience in coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Strong organisational and management skills,
