Machine Specialist - Electrical Bulmers Cambelltown

An exciting 6 month contract opportunity now exists for a Machine Specialist - Electrical to join our signature Bulmers Cider production site in Campbelltown- The largest cider manufacturing site in Australia.
Reporting to the Maintenance Controller you will take responsibility for the maintenance of equipment across the site to ensure that business targets are met with regards to machine efficiency, product quality, maintenance costs and process losses. You will provide hands on electrical support for machine break downs, specialist advice when required and support for improvement projects. Utilising your specialist knowledge you will update/develop equipment SOP's and maintenance procedures, supporting the operator community to ensure optimal machine availability.
As part of a team operating on shift the day to day tasks of the Machine specialist:
To enjoy success in this role you will possess electrical trade qualifications. Mechanical knowledge an advantage, preferably coupled with an Engineering degree or other appropriate tertiary qualification. You will ideally have an in-depth knowledge of packaging assets and FMCG manufacturing sites. Excellent problem solving and plc skills are essential.

- Provide electrical breakdown support.
- Assisting operational staff by developing Autonomous Maintenance procedures and schedules, housekeeping and cleaning schedules of the machines.
- Spare parts management.
- Continually striving to maximise efficiency through innovation and continuous improvement.
- Problem solving at all levels
- General housekeeping and safety duties
