Job Summary
Cardno ATC is a national engineering/consulting firm that specializes in environmental engineering, geotechnical engineering, and construction materials testing and inspection service. Cardno ATC is recognized as one of the nation's leading practitioners of Environmental Consulting, Engineering and Testing.
Cardno ATC is seeking a full time Business Development Manager to work in our Houston, TX office.
Essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
> Planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the project are accomplished within the prescribed time frame
> Developing new opportunities, long lasting company relationships, and program groups
> Support the local office or regional marketing efforts
> Working with proposal team and respond to requests for information, proposals and/or quotations
> Manage sales staff and marketing efforts
> Secure face-to-face meetings with potential and existing clients
> Ensure client development through sales calls, telephone calls, and mailings
> Serve as liaison between clients and technical staff, respond to requests for quotes, assist with proposal preparation, and remain focused on the goal of business development and relationship building and obtaining signed contracts for new work.

Other Requirements
Basic requirements:
> Business or Technical degree
> Ten (10) or more years of technical and management experience
> Professional Engineer or Professional Geologist registered in Texas is preferred
> In depth knowledge of Environmental Remediation and Building Science Practices
> Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and the Internet
