Hill International seeks to recruit a:

Environmental Engineer

Location: Philippines – 130km from Manila

Project duration: 18-24 months

Project description:

Construction of a new Thermal (coal fired) power plant 2x150MW

Qualifications & Skills

A University degree in Environmental Engineering or other related discipline.

At least 15 years of experience as an Environmental Engineer in site works for the power sector and large infrastructure projects, including Thermal power plants.

Experience in developing countries is desirable.

Excellent English language skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Undertake a cumulative assessment of the potential environmental impact of the Project, including conducting consultation with groups to be affected by the Project.

Update the environmental management and monitoring plan (EMP) detailing environmental mitigation measures to address each identified impact, and recommend appropriate environmental mitigation measures.

Assess the cost, responsibilities, schedule, location, and monitoring framework associated with the implementation of the mitigation measures and the EMP.
