Public Policy Analysts (Economists)
The Congressional Research Service (CRS), a service unit of the Library of Congress, seeks to fill the following public policy analyst positions:
- Analyst in Telecommunications Policy, Resources, Science and Industry Division
- Analyst in Agricultural Economics, Resources, Science and Industry Division
- Analyst in Labor Policy (Economics), Domestic Social Policy Division
CRS works exclusively for the United States Congress, providing policy and legal analysis to committees and Members of both the House and Senate, regardless of party affiliation. As a legislative branch agency within the Library of Congress, CRS has been a valued and respected resource on Capitol Hill for nearly a century.
The primary role of these positions is to serve the United States Congress as a public policy analyst in the specified area of specialization, by locating and interpreting factual information; conducting research; preparing objective, non-partisan descriptive, background, and analytical reports; and participating in team research projects and seminars.
