Overview of Position:
The research analyst will undertake research on Asian development issues.

Qualifications/Experience:
- PhD in economics, business, statistics or social sciences with rigorous training in micro and macro economics and quantitative analysis;
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant research, consulting, strategic planning, or policy analysis;
- Demonstrated strong interest/knowledge in economic analysis, political economy and governance issues;
- Competence to undertake research assignments independently, with little or no supervision;
- Familiarity with sources of data and literature on macro and governance issues.
Skill Sets/Knowledge
- Strong research, writing, editing and communication skills;
- Ability to perform with independent judgment and analysis;
- Ability to work well under pressure, and meet rapid and multiple deadlines;
- Comfortable working with high-profile individuals from business, academic, policy, government, and international circles;
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office applications and social media;
- Working knowledge of econometric software (SAS/STATA) a plus;
- Chinese or other Asian language.
Remuneration package will be based upon qualifications and experience.
