Job Description
The Business Recovery Services (BRS) team provides services to companies and stakeholders of underperforming businesses. Our Advisory team works on a range of assignments such as the provision of business review work, turnaround restructuring advice and implementation assistance, debt advisory and general stakeholder management.
Based in the Belfast office, there is likely to be a requirement to travel based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Specific areas of responsibility will include:
- Providing business review/forecast modelling to clients
- Engaging with clients, sometimes with the need to be based on client sites assessing, challenging and advising on business solutions and outlining possible options
- Advising clients on commercial viability of business
- Presentation of findings. In a variety of reporting formats, to a level suitable for Partner review
Requirements
The team have a requirement for a number of Senior Associates with the following:
- Candidates for this role should be qualified accountants (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
- Strong commercial acumen
- Previous experience in performing business recovery, business reviews. or desire to develop in this area
- Strong analytical, report writing and IT skills – MS Office Suite essential
- Previous experience working in a client-facing role required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills – with ability to challenge information
