Job Details 
ISS is seeking a number of talented and self-motivated research interns for the winter of 2017. Our interns will be assigned to the dynamic German-speaking region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) and be guided by our top experienced analysts.
Responsibilities
  • Assist our analysts by closely inspecting the agendas of annual general meetings.
  • Learn about and then formulate vote recommendations.
  • Gather data based on information in the company’s public documents.
  • Engage with companies to procure additional information.
  • Prepare reports detailing the analyses and explaining why a certain vote recommendation was given.
Desired qualifications 
  • A relevant master's degree in law, political sciences, economics, business or finance, or be in the process of obtaining such a degree.
  • Prior experience in a relevant area will be considered as an advantage.
  • A strong analytical ability, mathematical literacy, and strong oral and written communication skills.
  • The ability to assimilate large quantities of information, work independently and take initiative while also being a team player.
  • An organized and structured mind to deal with large quantities of work and strict deadlines.
  • Fluent (both spoken and written) in English and German is mandatory.
This internship is remunerated (€ 1000 monthly + public transportation pass) and will run for 4 months starting in February 2017.
