The Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Governance (AIPEG) is an AusAID-funded project assisting Indonesia to undertake important economic and financial policy reforms. Norton Rose Australia, as the Australian Managing Contractor, is now seeking applications from qualified professionals in the following specializations for consultancy positions in AIPEG:
Senior Adviser in Economics and Public Policy
This position is part of AIPEG’s Senior Management. The Senior Adviser will play a key role in developing new high impact activities, supporting existing programs to increase their policy impact, and building valued relationships across Indonesian Government agencies. The Senior Adviser should have extensive experience in issues of public policy including fiscal policy, structural reform and economic growth as well as the capacity to engage in areas such as: international trade policy, public financial management, tax administration and policy, financial sector development, competition policy and/or state owned enterprise reform.
Public Financial Management Policy, Budgeting & Planning, and Communications (several positions)
The Advisers will be part of AIPEG’s Public Financial Management Sub-Facility. They will exercise practical expertise in working within a Performance Based Budgeting and Mid-Term Expenditure Framework environment and help implement changes to Indonesian line ministries’ internal budgeting systems and processes. In addition Advisers will work to build staff capacity in the areas of policy development/evaluation, expenditure analysis and costing.
Chosen candidates will be able to demonstrate successful policy, strategic & technical advice and change management, with experience in the Indonesian context highly desirable.
