| Position description | We are looking for a Development Engineers/Engine Experts to Wärtsilä Industrial Operations, Gas Engine Components team in Vaasa. Come and join us in developing technologies and components to Wärtsilä’s gas fuelled engines. |
| Responsibilities | - Research and development of gas admission or ignition technologies for gas engines - Lead or participate in gas engine development projects - Seek for solutions within gas engine technology area which bring about technical and economical improvements to the present ones and advantages over competition - Improve the know-how of gas engine components - Develop the way of working - Develop supplier and partner relations |
| Requirements | - MSc in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent - Know how in fuel injection&admission or ignition technologies - Know how in gaseuos fuels and hydraulics - Gas engine know-how, mechanical/engine design skills along with project management skills and fluency in English - At least three years experience in engine technology development |
