Sanigest Internacional is a worldwide leading health care consulting and management company, with extensive experience in social sector research and capabilities in the fields of health care services management, health economics, social security reform, and consulting to development finance institutions, governments, health care providers, suppliers, and payers. We are seeking an Economist, or equivalent education degree with experience and knowledge in Statistical Analysis and Statistical Packages (SPSS, STATA). Qualifications and skills • Economist, statistician, or comparable degree with demonstrated technical ability in data analysis. • Experience with micro-econometric analysis, including econometric modeling and simulations • Demonstrated skills in technical data interpretation. • Strong statistical and analytical skills. • Strong writing ability. • Detail oriented and rigorous. • Ability to communicate effectively to government officials • Project management skills. • Able to work under pressure and with limited technical supervision • Strong team player - Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team. • Languages: fluent in English and Spanish . General professional experience At least 3 years of professional experience working in research applied to the Social sector (health & education), data processing, data analysis and micro-economic research including econometrics. Specific professional experience • Experience in report and technical proposals writing. • Experience in sampling methodologies, data processing methods and data analysis from social sector (Health, Education & Labor Market). • Demonstrated knowledge of Statistical Analysis Software (SPSS, Stata, or SAS) • Knowledge and experience in a wide spectrum of technologies related to Economics analysis and tools usage Other Immediate availability.
