Fintrac is preparing a bid for the USAID Agriculture Commercialization and Innovations (AC&I) Activity. AC&I, a project under USAID’s Bureau of Food Security (BFS), will advance innovative agricultural technologies through private sector engagement, increasing food security in Feed the Future (FtF) countries. The four components of the project are: a) Commercialization of FtF Technologies, b) Partnership Development, c) Design and Analysis of Partnership Models, and d) Central Source of Information and Analysis on Private Sector Models.

We are seeking candidates for five positions:

The Program Manager will provide technical and managerial oversight of all project activities and serve as primary liaison with USAID on AC&I. The Commercialization Team Leader will identify new, promising, appropriate, groundbreaking agricultural technologies that are ready for commercialization. The Partnership Development Team Leader will complement and support the bureau’s partnership efforts through outreach and communication activities. The Partnership Model Team Leader will design and structure a range of partnership types. The Knowledge Management Team Leader will develop a central source of information and analysis on models for engaging the private sector in agriculture and food security.

Qualifications

Program Manager: At least 10 years of experience in agriculture or agribusiness development, at least 5 years directing a program similar to AC&I. Work experience in emerging markets. Demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with business and international donors. MS in relevant field.

Team Leaders: At least 7 years of relevant experience. BS in a relevant field, master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to establish strong working relationships with businesses and international donors.
