Graphics Systems Engineer - Platform

Purpose of the Position:

In this key role you will be responsible for research and development of mobile system architecture and graphics in particular. This includes recommending and influencing the graphics (hardware/software) roadmap.

Description of Duties:

System-level analysis of the mobile platforms including, but not limited to, system architecture of mobile platform support, including kernel and extensions, OpenGL ES, EGL, and tools/test environments.

Identify bottlenecks and recommend/implement performance optimizations for graphics.


Specify software requirements and influence the hardware/system design for mobile platforms.


Work with Mobile platform manufacturers to help identify next generation graphics cores.


Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree

Experience with embedded system architecture and Open operating systems.

Experience with SoC architecture, CPU/GPU architecture.

Complete understanding of 2D/3D graphics fundamentals

Experience with embedded operating (esp. Linux or Android) is a major plus

Experience with Multimedia and Video processing.


Ability and flexibility to work and communicate effectively in a multi-national, multi-time-zone corporate environment.
