Supply Planning Specialist, China

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Description of the opportunity and position

  • Provides overall importation/exportation support, including monitoring shipment state, checking importation documents’ accuracy and be an expert to fix the problems on shipping documents with all stakeholders.


  • Manages the inventory reconciliation.


  • Prepares reports, presentation materials and routine correspondence with strong organization skills and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.


  • Interacts with both internal and external supply chain related departments on a daily basis in a highly professional manner.


  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
The knowledge, skills & abilities needed for the position – may be required (cannot hire someone without these qualifications) or desired
REQUIRED:
· Have a Bachelors degree
· Able to fluently speak and write in the English language
· Able to use Ms Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
DESIRED:
· Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationship with co-workers.
· Experience successfully communicating with senior executives, both verbally and in writing.
· Demonstrated ability to reprioritize workload under short deadlines in a fast-faced dynamic environment
· Unquestionable integrity and discretion – will need to deal with highly confidential information in a professional manner
· Flexibility to work extended hours as circumstances dictate
· Demonstrated proficiency with PC business applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, other MSOffice applications)
· Able to build spreadsheets in Excel including the creation of pivot tables, writing complex formulas, and preparing executive summaries.
· Proactive, accurate, and detail oriented
· Willing to take on variety of tasks with little supervision
