A Strategic role for an exceptional candidate

The University of Salford is undergoing an unprecedented period of transformation, which has included significant investment in library resources, systems, and services. The appointment of the University Librarian has re-established the Library at the heart of the University.

We are now looking for an innovative and experienced leader to join us, to develop and deliver a clear strategy in support of the ambitious University Strategic Plan.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who has extensive experience of motivating, developing and leading teams to deliver high quality and innovative library and ICT services.

This new role reporting to the University Librarian will be a key member of the new Library Leadership Team.

£54,283 to £55,908 PA

With strategic and operational responsibility for collections, academic support, information literacy and ICT skills development.
