Head of Major Donors

Lead a growing team and take VSO’s major donor fundraising to the next level:

VSO UK is seeking a high quality and experienced Major Donor manager to lead a dynamic team which is already seeing impressive growth but has the potential to do much more.

This is a great opportunity for an individual who has experience in securing and managing six figures sums from high net worth individuals, a natural ability to influence and work collaboratively with senior staff and first class financial and people management skills.

You will have an ability to develop and sustain high quality relationships and have an engaging communication style that can articulate the distinctive contribution that VSO bring to tackling poverty. Furthermore, you will have a detailed understanding of the key major donor fundraising techniques and tools – including knowledge of campaign and revenue major donor fundraising. Experience of managing high level voluntary boards will be an advantage as will an understanding of international development.

With your attention to detail and ability to implement systems that can support and enable effective fundraising, you will be a natural in getting the most from a strong team that is motivated to take VSO’s major donor fundraising to the next level.
