Regional Data Warehouse Analyst Millicom International Cellular (Tigo)
As the Regional Lead Data Warehouse Architect you will be accountable for the planning, design, schedule and update of global data warehouse analysis, design, development, and deployment. Your skills will enable you to identify and support global business requirements of centralized data warehouse; design end user interface including reporting that can improve time-to-revenue. You will develop efficient, flexible, extensible and scalable tools for data loading and extraction into and out of the global data warehouse.
Desired Skills & Experience
We will be looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
- BS in Computer Science or Information Systems
- Preferably a Master’s Degree
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IBM Informatica, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other best-of-breed ETL tools preferred. Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE), SapBusinessObjects and/or Microstrategy is preferred
- Solid English and Spanish Language
- Experience working with teams in different countries
- 4+ years experience with and detailed knowledge of data warehouse technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures.
- 4+ years experience in architecting data warehouse solutions and integrating technical components
- 4+ years experience with relational and star schema data modeling concepts, BI Tools
- Experience in relational database and multidimensional concepts/design/modelling
- Proficient data modelling skills (i.e. conceptual, logical and physical model design, experience with Operation Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses)
- Solid knowledge of Oracle RDBMS, and SQL and PL/SQL coding/querying.
- Knowledge of Oracle Essbase, Outlines and MaxL scripting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in capacity planning for hardware and storage needs
