Regional Senior Manager Construction United States-Utah-Salt Lake City
Responsibilities include: The successful candidate will manage a team of Senior Construction Managers and individuals project directors to successfully construct various mine projects and mine expansions. Work may include detailed engineer responsibilities on some projects. Team will consist of site managed groups and small scattered projects. Additionally, it is required to manage a small team of subject matter engineering experts and project safety professionals.
Primary Job Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:
• Develop and maintain a safety culture for the team and team clients
• Coordinate project construction managers to successfully manage regional construction projects with total individual project budgets greater than $5M each
• Prepare project execution plans
• Manage individual contractors and EPCM/CM contracts
• Track and report on project budget and schedule
SELECTION CRITERIA
BASIC REQUIREMENTS: To be considered for this job, applicants must meet these basic requirements:
• Demonstrated history of safe project management required
• 15-20 years of engineering and project management experience required
• BS in construction management or engineering field preferred
• Ability manage multiple projects and engineering disciplines required
• Proven ability to work with both contractor and in-house professionals required
• Demonstrated history of safely delivering projects on schedule required
• Excellent communication skills required
