Operations provide key craft skills and facilities to both internal BBC and independent programme makers.

Role

You will play a significant role in the overall management of Operations and, on a Production/Project basis, be accountable for the effective and efficient delivery of Operations resources managing Editorial ambition, Production budget and Resource availability. Specifically the Engineering Manager is responsible for the Operational element of Studio, Outside Broadcast and Location activity.

Requirements

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the operational and technical aspects of television programme making, combined with extensive operational experience in a television craft discipline.   You will also be an established leader with strong managerial and communication skills.
