Product Development Engineer , Intel Corporation - Malaysia
Responsibilities may be quite diverse of an exempt technical nature. U.S. experience and education requirements will vary significantly depending on the unique needs of the job. Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.
Qualifications
You must possess a Bachelor or higher degree in Electrical and/or Electronics Engineering or Computer Science. Additional qualifications include:
- A self-starter, with strong tenacity to overcome road blocks during early silicon steppings
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, multi-task
- Creative and ability to solve technical problems based on personal expertise and leveraging of technical resources and networking
- Ability to work well in a cross-functional team and cross-site environment
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Good hardware and software skills
- Knowledgeable and high curiosity in PC and processor architecture.
- System software experience with Microsoft *Windows* family operating systems [XP*, Vista*, Win7*], Linux* [Moblin, MeeGo, Google OS]
- Experience in Intel Test/Product Engineering and Manufacturing process/execution
The following qualifications would be added advantages:
- For senior grade, strong program and/or time management skills, exposure to new product introduction, leading teams, task forces and/or strong background in hands-on debug and validation experience in a lab environment using O-Scopes, Logic Analyzers, and others
- Knowledge of the Test Program Methodology and CPU manufacturing process flow
- Proficiency in Assembly language programming
