Several openings to join aggressive, fast paced exploration team searching for the next large unconventional play opportunity. Need team players with broad geoscience backgrounds willing to take initiative to identify, capture, and test new play ideas. Ability to work across both technical and commercial disciplines, strong technical skills, proven business judgment, and excellent communication skills are a priority.
Gulf of Mexico Exploration Geologists/Geophysicists:
Several openings identifying new leads and plays, accessing resources, and maturing opportunities in our Prospect Maturation or Regional Studies teams in our fast growing Deepwater Gulf of Mexico program.
Gulf of Mexico Operated Assets Geologist/Geophysicist:Familiar with maturing prospects to drill-ready, then leading the subsurface work as they are tested by the drill bit.
International Unconventional Exploration Geologist/Geophysicist:
To participate in exploration efforts on unconventional resource plays around the world. ConocoPhillips currently is active in Europe, Australia, and numerous additional unconventional plays.
Exploration Petrophysicists:
We seek experienced, highly qualified, and motivated petrophysicists to work on international and domestic plays at our Houston office. Domestic focuses on the analysis and characterization of very low permeability "unconventional" resource plays (shales, mudstones, siltstones). International focuses on new entry opportunities for shale and tight gas plays.
Petrophysicist:
The Petrophysical Technology Group currently has multiple openings for full time/part time individuals. The work opportunities range from laboratory through method development/office staff to service roles in direct support of BU projects.
Gulf of Mexico Pore Pressure Geologist/Geophysicist:Skilled in pore pressure and seal evaluation to help mature prospects in an active exploration program.
Gulf of Mexico Exploration Maturation Geologist or Geophysicist:
Are you a Geologist or Geophysicist who has significant Gulf of Mexico experience? This position is in Prospect Maturation and we're seeking someone who has the skills and expertise that can only come from working a lot of data in the GOM.
Lower 48 Exploration Petrophysicist:
