Lead Sales Specialist - Security Juniper Networks - UK, Germany, Sweden

Juniper is currently building a Security Specialist Sales team to focus on our security portfolio within EMEA - as part of this, we have multiple openings for Lead Sales Specialists to be based in various European locations.

As a Lead Sales Specialist you are responsible for the sale of Juniper security solutions within the defined territory. This will be achieved through understanding, validating, and proving the value of Juniper's security solutions as well as putting them into the business context of the customers. This position will work closely with the Juniper Operating Area Leader, Account Manager, Channel Account Manager, channel partners, and members of the Juniper technical sales team to drive sales opportunities from identification and qualification through closure by developing and driving an effective and efficient sales strategy.

You will have strong business acumen and strong CxO communication skills, collaboration & sales skills as well as an understanding of the security market & trends.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Accountable for all communications with the client and partner with respect to the security solutions to ensure consistent execution of the sales or partner enablement approach and customer/partner satisfaction.
  • Develop and leverage sustained trusted relationships with Juniper's internal resources, external partners, senior client technologists and other key players within the territory. This will be accomplished by gaining solution/technical credibility through thought leadership, collaboration, customer/partner advocacy.
  • Deliver positive, quantifiable results for Juniper and its customers/partners which will be measured across three primary areas:
  1. Financial Targets: Meet or exceed Juniper’s stated financial quotas and targets
  2. Customer Focus: Effectively and compellingly communicate Juniper's key capabilities to address customer or partners needs
  3. Leadership, Teamwork and Planning:  Collaborate with, and effectively run virtual team(s)
  4. Owns Tier 1 Partner relationships in the assigned territory
  • Drive business planning in collaboration with the Operating Area Leader, drive QBR’s where needed and required

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Significant sales experience for either the software or security solution provider.
  • Security background is preferred.
  • You should have underlying business acumen or experience in order to demonstrate and explain how Juniper solutions can fulfill the technical and business requirements of customers.
  • You must possess experience working with customers, sales personnel, customer service, as well as a good understanding of industry history and trends.
