Partner Sales Specialist - Juniper Security Products

As part of its new Security Specialist Sales team, Juniper Networks seeks a Partner Sales Specialist to be based in the UK, Germany or Nordics (with other locations also considered). You will be responsible for the sale of Juniper security solutions within the defined partners and territory. This will be achieved through understanding, validating, and proving the value of Juniper's security solutions as well as putting them into the business context of the partners. This position will work closely with the Juniper Operating Area Leader, Channel Account Manager, channel partners, and members of the Juniper security sales team to drive lead generation, revenue growth and partner commitment by strong executive engagement and thought leadership with our partner base.  

You will have strong business acumen and strong CxO communication skills, collaboration & sales skills as well as an understanding of the security market & trends.

Principal Responsibilities
  • Enable new and existing security partners
  • Responsible for acquiring new security partners for Juniper
  • Grow Juniper’s revenue within these partners significantly
  • Establish Juniper's value-add with this new partner community
  • Build strong executive engagement and prove strategic value with key customers
  • Build models for identifying and leveraging best the capabilities of partner, specifically in terms of solutions, demand generation
  • Large deal support on exception base

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Extensive IT industry sales and/or partner management experience for either a software or security solution provider.
  • Security background is preferred.
  • The successful candidate should have underlying business acumen or experience in order to demonstrate and explain how Juniper solutions can fulfill the technical and business requirements of customers and how they add value to our partner community.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with the sales team, partners and end user customers at all levels
  • Willingness to travel
  • Effective Communication: Deliver oral and written communications that are impactful and persuasive with their intended audience.
  • Bachelor's degree or global equivalent experience in an IT, business or sales related field.
