Our busy Brussels office seeks lawyers (an Associate position) to support its leading Environment, Life Sciences and Nanotechnology practice. Priority will be given to candidates with proven experience in the areas of biocides, cosmetics, food and food contact materials, nanotechnology, plant protection products, REACH and litigation before the General Court and Court of Justice.
We seek hard working colleagues with an agile mind and creative approach to problem solving. An appreciation of the scientific issues underlying our practice would be a bonus, since our team (like our clients) is multidisciplinary. You should be able to express yourself clearly and concisely in English (both written and orally). Fluency in other languages would be an advantage. The successful candidates will be good team-players who can also work independently when required.
In addition to client projects, our lawyers are expected to actively participate in marketing and business development initiatives. Compensation will be commensurate with the successful candidates’ experience. All offers are subject to a 6 month trial period.

- a current CV (including names of 2 referees who can be contacted);
- copies of certificates for each educational or vocational qualification (including grades achieved);
- and two recent writing samples of your own work.
Candidates chosen for further consideration will be asked to complete a written assignment under exam conditions. Oral interviews will be conducted at the final selection round.
