Position Summary

IREX is currently seeking a Consultant for an anticipated program focusing on support for university-based Career Development Centers in Egypt. This program is being solicited for a period of three (3) years with periodic travel to Egypt. This position is contingent on funding.

Individuals should be able to demonstrate experience in designing and implementing career center services through training, development of multimedia tools, and other activities.

Duties & Responsibilities

- Provide vision and strategic direction for the program

- Develop and implement a plan of activities to meet program objectives

- Develop and maintain effective partnerships with targeted in-country organizations

- Serve as primary liaison with donor

- Manage and mentor project staff

- Oversee project budgeting and ensure budget discipline

- Oversee monitoring, evaluation and reporting on program activities

Qualifications

- Minimum 10 years professional experience in career center development

- Masters degree in related field

- MENA regional experience strongly preferred

- Experience managing donor-funded activities required

- Strong representational and organizational skills required
