- The candidate will be reporting to the Fuel Optimization Manager and in his abscence the Fleet Group Manager CPH.
- Responsible for performance optimization of all Maersk Tankers Vessels incl. Brostrom Vessels using the compan's performance management systems.
- Optimization of Maersk Tanker Vessels incl. Brostrom Vessels in respect of;
- Fuel Optimization.
- Cylinder Oil Consumption.
- MSPS reporting quality.
- Base Load reductions.
- Draft Optimization.
- Explore commercial aspects of speed adjustment.
In this position the incumbent will have an opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills in the following areas;
- Gain experience and knowledge as a Fuel Optimization Engineer for mordern Oil Tankers.
- Greater career development based on performance within a large international corporation.
- Develop analytical and problem-solving skills in an individual and team setting.
- Preferably 1 year as a Superintendent of Oil Tanker Vessels
- Having sailed as a Chief Engineer preferable on oil tanker vessels.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Be able to operate individually and in a team.
