Group Five Housing is looking to employ candidates in various positions for Housing and Mining Related projects in South Africa and Africa.

Senior Estimator


BTech/BSc Quantity Surveying, minimum 10 years’ proven estimating track record of “cradle-to-grave” estimating ability to compile accurate estimates, under pressure, from start to finish. Efficiency in the entire CCS estimating software a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be available to work within South Africa and Africa.
Only candidates from the construction industry with previous working experience need apply.

Concrete Foreman
All grades/levels Concrete Foreman with a minimum of 5 years’ concrete-specific experience. Proven Concrete Artisan’s/Tradesman’s qualification a definite advantage. Ability to supervise all concreterelated activities (non-negotiable).
Candidates must be available to work within South Africa and Africa.
Only candidates from the construction industry with previous working experience need apply.

Foreman
All grades/levels Foreman (on-site construction supervision) with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. Proven Artisan’s/Tradesman’s qualification a definite advantage. Ability to supervise all construction activities from setting out to handover of buildings (non-negotiable).
Candidates must be available to work within South Africa and Africa.

Site Engineer
Diploma/degree in Building Science/Construction Management with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience resolving engineering/construction issues arising on site. Programming skills essential. Understudy to Site Agent position.
Candidates must be available to work within South Africa and Africa.

Senior Quantity Surveyor
Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying (Nat Higher Diploma, BTech or BSc) with minimum 7+ years’ on-site experience and proven track record.
Candidates must be available to work within South Africa and Africa.
