Marula Platinum Limited is situated on the eastern limb of the Bushveld Indigenous Complex near Burgersfort. We are looking for the right calibre candidate for this position:

Safety Officer (Mining)
Marula

Interested candidates must meet the following requirements:
• Grade 12 Certificate (NQF Level 4) is considered essential
• A valid medical certificate or to be medically fit in order to obtain such a certificate is essential
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications is essential
• A valid Blasting Ticket is essential
• Code EB (08) driver’s licence and own transport are considered essential
• COMSOC 1 and 2 and all other safety related qualifications would be considered an advantage
• A valid First Aid ticket would be advantageous
• NADSAM would be advantageous

Skills/experience:
• Experience as a Shift Boss would be considered an advantage
• TMM/conveyor experience
• Must be dedicated and committed
• Risk management experience

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Enforcement of legal inspections
• Compliance with Regulation 2.19.3
• Conducting legal audits
